The goals of this online course are to teach practical methodology and to create possibility for trainees to learn and practice the main Business English terms. This knowledge wil be connected with ideas regarding methods and techniques used at (a Business English) class. So, the overall goal is to give a serious impulse for students and young teachers who would like to start a career as a Business English trainer, or for those who are planinning a carreer as an ESL teacher. This goal will be accomplished by adding to the training the possibility to teach a 50 hour module to adult learners, these two activities (theories + practice) resulting in a complete Linguaprof Teaching Academy.
Duration: 15th June- 15th December 2010
The programme: 1-3 short lessons/ week = approximately 90 minutes of study/ week

The PPP sequences and its practical relevance in teaching
Communicative approach
Roles of teacher/ the 4 skills
Language systems: vocabulary, grammar and language functions
Grammar in context, teaching applied grammar at class
Using video and audio at class, techniques, tips, advice
Business topics:
The terminology of marketing
The terminology of PR
The terminology of sales
The terminology of general management
The terminology of finance
The terminology of HR
The terminology of everyday business communication
